  1. Apply sparely, Thin coat on bike chain.
  2. Let it sit for a minute.
  3. Wipe off the excess.

Removing your pedals with Norman

Episode 2: Self Sufficiency Series; Removing your pedals with Norman, The Owner of Twenty20 Cycles in Baltimore Maryland.

  1. Turn wrench towards rear of bike to remove pedals
  2. The bike pedals are right threads and left threads
  3. Turn towards rear to remove, Front to install.
  4. The pedals don’t need to be super human tight.

Flat Tire Repair with Norman

Flat Tire Repair with Norman, The Owner of Twenty20 Cycles in Baltimore Maryland.

  1. Remove the wheel from the bike. (Shift into smallest gear)
  2. Remove the tire off the wheel by hand.
  3. Use tire level, opposite the valve stem to remove tire from rim.
  4. Use pump to inflate tire and find out where the leak came from.
  5. Figure out what caused the flat so we don’t have a second flat. (Inside, Outside, or P inch)
  6. Inflate new tube partially to ease the installation
  7. Start by putting the valve stem into the rim and tuck the tube up inside the tire.
  8. Make sure the tube in tucked into the tire so we don’t puncture it.
  9. Use your hands to work the tire back in to the channel until it pops into place.
  10. Double check the tube is not pinched anywhere in the tire.
